About the Practice

Columbia Veterinary Services was formed in 2022 with the separation of the farm animal services from Copake Veterinary Hospital. We strive to continue a 75-year tradition of providing high quality preventive medicine, individual animal care, and herd health services to our valued farm clients. Our offerings include routine on-farm care for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, pigs, chickens/other avian species plus 24 hour emergency care and consultation. We service areas within Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Albany, Rensselaer, Berkshire, and Litchfield counties. We appreciate the diversity of farming practices and goals in the region and are committed to addressing the individual needs of our patients and farmers.
